present and do a write up on a critical issue facing HR today. The scope is
quite broad but must come from one of the following topic areas:

1. HR & the law
2. Employee Relations
3. Reward Management
4. Recruitment & Selection
5. HR planning
6. HRM Information systems

Your write up will be the written version of your
presentation but will need supporting evidence clearly documented and
referenced. The word count for the write up is 1000 words.Please use
clear headings in your work, reference all work using the Harvard referencing
system. You must also provide a copy of your power point presentation after
presenting..
The topic area and
your specific choice for discussion must be approved by me no later than week 6
of the course.
Example topics:
How do we manage
staff from different cultural backgrounds when we are trying to assess their
