Performance appraisals are instruments used to document and evaluate performance. Performance appraisals and meetings can be used to identify areas of improvement and growth. Leaders often use these meetings to coach and encourage employees to take on more responsibility to develop their potential within the organization.
Discuss the following:
Identify and explain programs or policies that influence improvement and growth for employees.
Propose a succession plan that would improve growth opportunities. Explain how leaders and managers can motivate and coach employees who are considered “high potential” employees, to move up in the organization to create stability and growth opportunities.
Your paper should be 6 pages in length and conform to the APA. Include at least 4-6 scholarly references (do not include blogs, Wikis, or anonymous sources, for example).
